Emily Davidson
Hello! My name is Emily.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA in Dec. 2018 with a B.A. in Public Relations and minor in Promotions. I am a marketing and public relations practitioner in-progress with strong skills in analytics, data visualization, copy writing, strategic planning and media buying. Currently, I'm a media buyer at DH, a public relations located in Spokane, assisting all our clients in media strategy, placement, trafficking and analytics.
My Story
I grew up in Brier, WA (near Seattle) and spent most of my childhood as a competitive gymnast. When I stopped competing in high school, I transitioned into coaching (the coolest of all high school jobs). I attended Mountlake Terrace High School and was very active in the theatre department as an actor, dancer, stage manager and in various leadership roles. In high school, my favorite classes were American Sign Language, A.P. Calculus and A.P. European History - what a combo.
I attended Gonzaga University as a third generation Zag. I studied Public Relations and Promotions and had the opportunity to intern at amazing organizations. During my college career I interned at Gonzaga University Student Involvement, Seattle Children's Theater, The Santa Fe Opera and Second Harvest. Besides interning, I was also a stage manager with the university's theatre and dance department, secretly loved my required philosophy classes and was an active Gonzaga Basketball fan (Go Zags)!
Professionally, I am interested in organizations that are mission and values driven and provide me with an opportunity to learn and grow as a professional. I love learning new things and enjoy being in fast-pace environments that challenge me. My greatest professional strength is I'm equally left and right side brained and I enjoy working in environments that allow me to use both my analytic and creative skills.
